about chelsea

Hello flower friends! I’m Chelsea, owner and lead designer at Yarrow & James.

My love affair with floral design began in my tender teen years at a local flower shop. The enchanting allure of flowers captured my heart and sparked a desire to learn more about their beauty and create unique arrangements that would leave a lasting impression. What was once a fleeting fascination, bloomed into a deep passion that led me to make a bold decision of cultivating a flower farm and becoming a full time designer.

Inspired by nature, I find immense joy in creating organic and romantic designs that transport you to a world filled with ethereal blooms. My personal style is a combination of modern elegance and timeless charm, seamlessly blending the old with the new. During my free time, you can often find me exploring antique shops, searching for vintage vases and vessels that add a touch of nostalgia to my creations.

When I’m not busy creating something beautiful for you in the studio, I’m strolling the flower fields at our farm, harvesting the finest blooms. Whether it's a wedding, anniversary or special event, I pour my heart and soul into my creations.

Thank you for joining me on this journey of creativity and bringing a piece of nature's beauty into your lives. I am truly honored to be a part of your floral story. Let's make magic together!

“I was able to work alongside Chelsea for a wedding this past summer where I was the photographer. Florals bring so much life to any event, or wedding, and Chelsea's vibrant bouquet and floral installations made the day so special. As a fellow vendor, she was amazing to partner with and even thought of special details for me such as placing aside florals for the flat lay. Such a small thing but it seriously made my job so much easier and made the "getting ready" details for my bride and groom so much more special. Thank you, Yarrow and James for being amazing vendors to partner with! I truly hope to work together again in the future!” - Colette, Photographer
