When you picture a perfect Texas Hill Country evening, it looks a lot like Alaina and Jack’s wedding. Warm golden light poured over the rolling hills, friends and family gathered under the open sky, and every detail felt effortless yet intentional. And we have to talk about Alaina’s hat moment—giving us major Elizabeth James (The Parent Trap, 1998) energy in the most stylish way.

Hosted at Collective Retreats in Wimberley, TX with a ceremony overlooking Montesino Ranch, this wedding was a celebration of love, family, and the natural beauty of the Texas Hill Country.

The Design

Local, seasonal flowers were at the heart of Alaina’s vision. To honor her priorities, we sourced most of the blooms directly from our own farm, @creeksouthfarms. These Texas-grown flowers brought a sense of place and sustainability to the celebration. We designed a palette of soft, romantic blooms in warm, golden tones—florals that complemented the Hill Country sunset without competing with it. Each bouquet, tablescape, and ceremony detail felt timeless yet a little undone: natural beauty, thoughtfully elevated.

The Celebration

From the live soundtrack by Texas Sun Music to the dreamy cake by Mr. Natural Austin, every vendor poured their heart into making the day memorable. Guests enjoyed stylish rentals from Whim Hospitality, creating an atmosphere that was both welcoming and elevated.

And can we talk about fashion? Alaina stunned in her gown from Reformation, paired with her chic hat from Goorin Bros. that tied her look together with effortless cool-girl charm. Wander Weddings perfected her glowing hair and makeup, completing a look that was as iconic as it was personal.

The talented team at Light as Gold Photography documented the day in a way that perfectly matched the couple’s vibe—romantic, natural, and joy-filled. Every photo captures not just the beauty of the details, but the warmth of the celebration itself.
